Reporting Diversity Manual (2001-2002)

The project aimed at producing a manual on reporting diversity to be used by journalists, activists and trainers.

The book was produced on the basis of the reporting diversity (RD) training course with the participation of the SEENPM network members that took place in October 2001 in Sofia. The participants discussed the “reporting diversity” issue from different perspectives, and tried to outline its role in the so-called “societies in transition”.

The book, prepared and published in English in 2002, was titled Reporting Diversity. A Guide for Reporting Diversity. The guide does not choose for the didactic approach. It tries to instrumentalize the trial-and-error experience without any claims to offer absolute or ultimate truths. The project authors believe that this approach will facilitate improving professional skills of journalists as well as enhance mutual understanding and tolerance.
