This book appears as a
result of the Non-Bias Journalism in a Multicultural Community.
Training by Doing for Young Journalists Project, implemented jointly
by ACCESS Association, Bulgaria and Novi Sad School of Journalism,
Yugoslavia in 2001-2002.
Within the
project two seminars were carried out consequently in Novi Sad and Sofia
for in-depth familiarization of young journalists from the media of the
two countries with the socio-political situation and the most important
issues on those countries’ agendas, with a focus on the similarities
rather than the insurmountable differences.
The texts are arranged
in two main sections – one of the Serbian point of view, and the other of
the Bulgarian one. The guiding principle of the text selection is to
outline the image of Bulgaria and Serbia from the perspective of different
areas of public life: political, cultural, religious, media, etc. |
